In episode one, we re-visit Namibia's qualification campaign, soul-searching after the 1997 disaster, thrown into the B group, locked out of their rooms before the tournament finished, and travelling to matches in a yellow school bus in their quest for a World Cup ticket.

After wrapping a smorgasbord of emerging cricket action, Bes, Nick and Tim chat to Alan Curr, Head of Operations at the Japan Cricket Association. Discussing the rise of the game in his country, culminating in an U19 World Cup experience, Alan laments the decision of PNG progressing to the next tournament after the cancellation of East Asia Pacific Qualifying 

Following our interview with the ACF's Paul Sinclair, Nick Skinner talks to Dr. Liz Hanna in more detail on some of the science around climate change and the implications for player health as the planet warms. Dr. Hanna is Honorary Senior Fellow at the ANU's Climate Change Institute, as well as Co-Chair of the Environmental Health Working Group in the World Federation of Public Health Associations.

In a special #ECPod, the boys are joined by former Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Shafiq Stanikzai. Shafiq sheds light on the current political happenings in the country, and outlines the immediate future of Afghan cricket during the uncertainty.

It's a #ECPod double act this week, with two shows! Nick and Bes wrap up the recent Europe Qualifier where Scotland prevailed, and review Thailand's T20I series win over Zimbabwe. We also look at Sweden's series with Norway, where Nick thinks we may have seen a first in the women's T20I game!

The 2019 Men's World Cup-winning fast bowler, Liam Plunkett has announced that he will be relocating permanently from the UK to the USA where he has signed a contract with Major League Cricket.
