While most had predicted that Thailand would proceed from the global play off, the EC team are no less excited to wrap the event which saw the emergence of Sornnarin Tippoch's side from world record holders to World Cup qualifiers.
Firstly though, Ryan Campbell joins us to talk about the recent selections made for the men's T20 World Cup qualifier.
Afghanistan's victory in the one-off Test in Bangladesh is also touched on and we preview the USA hosted CWC League 2 tri-series with Namibia and PNG and the Malaysia leg of CWC Challenge League A.

The Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier draw has been released so the team dissects the group match ups and makes their predictions for the UAE hosted event which runs from 18 OCT - 2 NOV.
Bermuda correspondent Neil Joynson (@OpeningStatsman) joins the podcast (in his Bermuda shorts) from the North Atlantic island to give us his perspective on the recent T20WC Qualifiers there and how he thinks the team will fare in the global T20 World Cup qualifier.
With more countries taking advantage of universal T20 International status the challenge of maintaining accurate stats from all these events - who aren't all necessarily using Cricinfo - is also talked about, as the the Continental Cup finished up with the Austrian team taking home the winner's trophy.

In part one of a bumper show this week, the boys discuss the Americas Qualifier for the T20 World Cup, where Bermuda upstaged a more-fancied American side to steal a Global Qualifier spot, with Canada finishing in top spot. ESPN Cricinfo's Peter Della Penna stops by to give his thoughts from being on hand in Bermuda, in a snippet of his chat with us (our full conversation with him is coming soon so stay tuned).

Another cracker of a show where Nick, Tim and Bes start proceedings by conducting a post-mortem of the dead 2019 Euro T20 Slam.
The team then wraps the first tri-series of Cricket World Cup League 2 between Scotland, Oman and PNG, where Scotland and Oman both claimed three wins from their four matches. We also hear from Kyle Coetzer to give us his thoughts on the series.
The group then look to the Women's T20 World Cup global qualifier in Scotland, where two of the eight competing teams will qualify for Australia 2020.
The trio also wrap a T20I series between Spain and Finland, where the Spaniards claimed a 2-1 win in Kerava.

The boys are joined by Hong Kong captain Anshy Rath and Scotland captain Kyle Coetzer as they discuss the goings on in Canada where both played in the Global T20 in Brampton. We talk to Kyle as he prepares for their home tri-series with Oman and PNG this week and get Anshy's prediction, before we discuss the Americas men's T20 World Cup qualifier and the Everest Premier League, which has been moved to February and March, and both players have played in.
Bes then rounds up the show with news, including Thailand's World Record effort and their quad series win over Scotland, Ireland and the Netherlands, as well as the cancellation of the Euro T20 Slam.

We continue to cover the fallout of Zimbabwe's suspension, where their loss is Nigeria's and Namibia's gain, as they enter the global T20 World Cup Qualifiers in the men's and women's competitions respectively.
We take a look at Scotland's win at the European U19 World Cup Qualifiers, and both UAE/Netherlands and Czech Republic/Hungary T20 series.
The boys also discuss issues at the Canadian Global T20, and the shifting of USA's ODI tri-series next month to Florida.
We also hear from French women's captain Emmanuelle Brelivet after their quadrangular series win, as well as EC contributor and Bermuda correspondent, Neil Joynson, who paints a picture of Cup Match festivities there on the island.

No one stole the show more than new fan-favourite Romanian Pavel Florin, who we hear interviewed at the tournament.
We also wrap the Asian T20 World Cup Qualifier, where Singapore did their homework to beat out Nepal and others for a spot at the Global Qualifier.
